Check-out from the hotel and departure for a tour to the south of Armenia. .Stop - Khor Virap monastery, from where one of the most wonderful views of the biblical Mount Ararat opens. Then a visit to the monastery complex of Noravank (XIII), hidden among the mysterious red rocks - one of the most beautiful landscapes in Armenia. A tour of the mysterious Birds Cave, where archaeologists recently found the world's oldest leather shoe and a winery dating back nearly 6000 years. Areni is one of the actively developing wine-growing regions of Armenia, where red wine is produced from the local indigenous variety of the same name. In one of the small wineries we will taste this good. Lunch at Stepanyans Yard. Then we will visit Jermuk Waterfall, Jermuk Waterfall This is the second largest waterfall in Armenia. It becomes stormy by the spring, and dies down by the fall. The height of the waterfall is 68 meters and it is located in the eponymous kurt town of Jermuk, with its world-famous mineral waters. There are two ways to approach the waterfall - for the first you need to go down into the gorge and get inspired by the waterfall from below, and for the second you need to find by asking around a small path leading to a steep cliff near the waterfall, from where dizzying views open up. Dinner and Overnight in Goris DAY 3 Excursion: Goris - Tatev Ropeway - Tatev Monastery - Khndzoresk Cave City - Dilijan After breakfast at the hotel we will take the cable car. "Wings of Tatev" is the longest cable car that runs over the gorge of the stormy mountain river Vorotan and connects the village of Halidzor and the Tatev monastery. The road opened in 2010 and became part of the Tatev monastery revival project. Now it is one of the most popular and favorite tourist attractions. The flight on "Wings of Tatev" takes about 15 minutes and allows you to see a fantastically beautiful natural landscape from a height of over 300 meters. Before the eyes of passengers, a picturesque view opens up of a deep gorge, where there are prehistoric sites of Neanderthals, ancient cave settlements, the purest healing springs and the famous "Devil's Bridge". On the last section of the cable car, the Tatev Monastery (906) appears in front of the passengers, looking like a beautiful snow-white pearl among gray rocks. The Tatev Monastery is located in the Syunik region on a high cliff that drops off into the gorge of the Vorotan River. It was built during the 9th-10th centuries. Tatev is the pearl of Armenian medieval architecture; once it was the main spiritual and cultural center of Armenia. Many interesting legends are associated with this monastery, some of which we will tell you today: Stop - the cave city of Khndzoresk. On the slopes of a picturesque gorge, almost 3 km long, there is the cave city of Khndzoresk. It is an Armenian village with about 3000 cave buildings. In ancient times it was one of the largest villages in Armenia and had a population of 15,000. This is the only Armenian village that has never come under the influence of the enemy. Its history is replete with fierce battles against invaders. The suspension bridge is located on the territory of the Old Khndzoresk gorge, in Armenia. The suspension bridge, unique for the entire region, appeared in 2012. Dinner and Overnight in Dilijan DAY 4 Excursion: Lori - Haghpat - Sanahin On the fourth day you will go to the Lori region, where the famous monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin are located, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
